All of us are affected by the childhoods we experienced. Here is the thing, not all people who are wounded abuse. Some of the kindest people I know came from very abusive backgrounds both physically and emotionally. I know many people have experienced a tremendous amount of trauma in their childhood on several different levels and did not turn out to be narcissists.
